In a nutshell: An all-mountain park ski for all corners of the resort.

The Captis is Black Crows’ ultimate all-mountain offering; a ski that takes park riding, piste ripping and powder charging all in its stride in a fun, visually pleasing package. Based on the classic freestyle twin-tip shape, the Captis is just a little bit more directional, making it more fun to ski on the groomers and in powder, but keeping a lively, versatile feel underfoot that allows you to make every corner of the mountain your own personal snow park.

At 90mm wide, it’s not as fat as some of the other all-mountain freestyle orientated skis out there, like the Atomic Bent Chetler 100 or Line Blend, but if you’re planning to spend most of your time in the snow park and ripping around the slopes with your friends, that 90mm will be just perfect, and you won’t feel let down in the powder either. Throw in a flexible medium camber and double rockered profile, and you’ll find you have plenty of manoeuvrability and response, in everything from hardpack to chop to pristing powder. It also makes for great pop whether you’re sending it off jumps, drops or side hits.

Black Crows have also decked the Captis out with a non-to-be-scoffed at 18m radius, which means you can get your charge on when the slopes are empty but won’t set you back when you’re blasting through tight tree runs or bumps. Probably one of the most versatile skis out there this winter, if you love riding equal amounts park and powder as well as laying out carves on the piste, this is a great choice. Especially if you’re about to head out on a season and you only want one set of skis. Offering the perfect shape and dimensions to hold its own as your ability progresses, the Captis is the ultimate ski for shredding the whole resort.
