Designed to meet the demands of pros and Burton team riders, the Genesis is a powerhouse combining next generation tech and anatomical design. 

Pro’s need their bindings to be able to stand up to high performance riding, give the response they’re looking for, and be comfortable enough to be in all day everyday! The Genesis does this by working with your anatomy to deliver higher performance while having a medium flex. 

The advanced composite baseplate gives a playful response. The footbed has B3 impact gel to protect against heavier landings and features an AutoCANT FullBED cushioning system that works with your anatomy to help maintain lower body alignment. This hugely improves board control as well as reducing fatigue and strain on your joints. 

In the same way, the responsive hi-backs are canted and align with the contours of your legs for higher comfort and improved response. The hi-back fit can be dialled in with the MicroFLAD system to go from a more freestyle position to a more aggressive lean, depending on your riding style. 

For maximum support the Genesis uses Burton’s Kickback Hammock technology to create a supportive bond between your boot and the hi-back. At the front, a combination of Hammock Straps over the ankle and Supergrip Capstrap 2.0’s  over the toe provide 360 support around the boot. 

The whole Hammock system is designed to mold around the shape of your boot, allowing you instant response and a totally secure fit. 

Locking you in Burton have added their Double Take buckles for twice the speed and twice the strength on each crank. 

The Genesis EST has Burton’s Hinge that increases mobility and allows more lateral and medial flex. This translates to easier roll and better ollie performance.
